High Heel Dash: August 11, 2010 You think you like shoes? Can dance all night in towering platforms, pumps, and stilettos no problem? We know your type. And have we got an event for you! Aegis Foundation invites Hello Stiletto shoe club members and local area footwear fanatics (men and women!) to participate in the "2010 High Heel Dash" Wednesday, August 11th at Peavey Plaza in downtown Minneapolis. Come show off your glamorous athletic prowess. Contestants will compete against each other in 25-yard dash heats wearing heels three inches or taller. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place dashers! All contestants will receive an official High Heel Dash t-shirt. And it's all for a great cause! Proceeds benefit Soles4Soles and the Emergency Foodshelf Network. To support these charities, participants are encouraged to raise a minimum of $100. Top fundraisers will win prizes.
